Here at Regaldive the wellbeing of our clients and staff is always our priority and we are monitoring the coronavirus outbreak very closely. Below you will find further information on how we are handling the situation as it evolves.

a message for our clients

We understand the concern that the Coronavirus outbreak is generating and we would like to assure you that our expert team is working hard to minimise the impact on all of our clients.

Whereas the situation in respect of overseas travel has been extremely dynamic, more certainty of key issues and concerns is now emerging and we have updated our policies and procedures accordingly.

We are continuing to assess each of our bookings – prioritised by date of departure – to ensure that we are using the most up-to-date and relevant Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice, airline rulings and industry guidance. Now that all our overseas clients have been repatriated, our priority is to those booked to travel until mid-June. Our expert team will be in contact to discuss the contingencies and alternative options available to you.

If you are due to depart after mid-June, we don’t anticipate being able to contact you until one month prior to your departure date (at the very latest).

We have prepared the answers to some of the questions that clients are asking, and hope this is useful – please see below to find out more.

Thank you for your patience and support during these unprecedented times.

Do I still need to pay my final balance on my booking?

We are continuing to assess each of our bookings – prioritised by date of departure – to ensure that we are using the most up-to-date and relevant Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice, airline rulings and industry guidance. If your holiday is not currently disrupted, you will still receive a request from us to pay your final balance. If your holiday becomes disrupted, subsequent to paying your Final Balance, we will contact you and discuss the contingencies and alternative options available to you.

What is your approach to the Coronavirus outbreak?

We are closely monitoring the situation as it develops and adhere to the travel advice provided by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).  Where destinations are subject to official travel restrictions, we are working proactively with clients who are travelling with us before the end of May – prioritised by date of departure – to provide alternative options.

In addition to monitoring FCO advice we are also in regular contact with our airline partners and local suppliers, to ensure we have the latest information. We recommend that all travellers monitor the FCO travel advice for the most up-to-date information about the country that you are planning to visit.

Can I cancel my holiday even though you are still planning for it to go ahead?

Yes, if you decide not to travel and choose to cancel your holiday then our usual cancellation terms apply. Please see our booking conditions for full details.

Will I be covered by my travel insurance if I decide to cancel?

It is essential that travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking a holiday. If you wish to cancel your holiday please check with your insurance provider if you wish to make a claim, as your cover will depend on the terms of your policy.

Where can I check for up-to-date travel & health information for my destination?
