  • Better understand the aquatic world
  • Dive where only divers with advanced training can dive

Dive Courses

Regaldive offer a range of PADI Advanced courses to suit your needs. Below, you will find our most popular Advanced courses but there are many other PADI courses we can arrange.

PADI Advanced Course - from £147

Build on your Open Water skills and expand your diving experience.  The PADI Advanced course takes two days and consists of five dives.  Two are compulsory - deep dive and navigation, three are elective from a choice including wreck, night, drift, photo, etc.  Equipment is usually included.  Please note that an extra fee may be payable in resort for some of the elective dives.  There is a minimum age limit of 12 for the PADI Advanced course.

Please note: Divers wishing to do their Advanced Open Course will need to purchase the PADI Advanced manual.  This can be bought from Regaldive at a cost of £26.

PADI Enriched Speciality - from £70

This one-day course gives divers the knowledge to plan and execute recreational NITROX dives.  The course is designed to train divers in the benefits, hazards and procedures for using Nitrox mixes up to 40% oxygen to extend no decompression limits.  The PADI Nitrox course includes a theory session and exam. Extra Nitrox dives are optional and are not included in the cost.

This course is the pre-requisite for all further Technical Diving courses.  Entry requirement is PADI Open Water or equivalent.

Please note: Study during one evening is required in resort.

Emergency first Response - from £70

Learn the skills you need to perform CPR and First Aid.  Emergency First Response (EFR) helps you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.  This comprehensive program contains two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses:

EFR - Primary Care and EFR - Secondary Care
Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (though recommended) Automated External Defibrillator and Emergency Oxygen sections.

This course is usually conducted over one day and satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR prerequisite.

PADI Rescue Diver Course - from £209

Expand your knowledge and experience beyond the recreational.  The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of the most rewarding courses because you'll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers.  This three-day course is open to qualified Advanced divers.

Four academic modules cover self-rescue, first aid, accident management and equipment.  Includes five open water sessions (not dives).

Please note that the Emergency First Response (EFR) qualification is required, or proof of other CPR first aid course, within the last two years.

PADI Divemaster Course - from £376

This course is the first step on the professional diving career ladder.  The PADI Divemaster course will give you the qualification you need to allow you to work as a Dive Guide.  To take part, you must be 18 years or older and have proof of 20 logged dives, be PADI Advanced and a Rescue Diver.

The course includes eight academic sessions and exams, various water and diving skills, rescue evaluation, producing a map of the local training site and emergency assistance plan.

Please note: Before certification you need CPR and EFR qualifications and a valid medical certificate within the last 12 months.

To complete your qualification you need to take with you two passport sized photos.  You may also have to pay a certification fee of between €25 - €55.  Loan of dive equipment and loan of manuals is normally included.
