The schedule you do on the boat varies with the currents and the tides. The boat tour leader and captain will do the best option for you.

Day 1: Transfer from your accommodation to Tap Lamu pier. The boat departs around 08.00 and heads north to the Similan & Surin islands. Today's dive schedule includes 3 dives at Koh Bon and Koh Tachai pinnacle, plus a night dive at Surin. Marine highlights include Manta Ray encounters at Koh Bon and beautiful coral gardens, schools of Glass Fish and Barracuda plus possible sightings of Leopard Sharks.

Day 2: Today is spent at Richelieu Rock, one of Thailand's most recognised dive sites. Enjoy 3 dives exploring the horseshoe shaped reef plus a night dive at Ko Tachai. Richelieu Rock is a spectacular site offering divers a little bit of everything, from tiny creatures to rich purple soft corals, anemones hosting popular species such as Clown, Clark's and Pink Skunk plus Tomato Clownfish, Seahorse, Frogfish, Ghost Pipefish, Blue Spotted Rays, schools of Tuna and Barracuda, and the occassional Whale Shark cruising by in the blue.

Day 3: The dive plan on your final day includes a further dive at Koh Tachai, a second visit to Koh Bon and a dive on the Boonsung wreck, a dredger which met its demise in the mid-1980s - full of an incredible variety of marine life including nudibranches, several species of shrimp, schools of Sweetlips, Snapper and Teira Batfish plus Yellow Boxfish, Cuttlefish and Anemonefish. Keep an eye out for Stonefish and Crocodilefish throughout the broken up wreck. Return to Tap Lamu pier and disembark around 17.00.

The North Tour itinerary departs Tap Lamu on a Friday morning, returning Sunday evening throughout the season from November to late April. It is possible to extend your stay in resort or join the longer 4 night itinerary which departs on Sunday night. It is recommended that divers are Advanced qualified and must have 10 logged dives to join this trip.
