SEA SERPENT - north tour

HURGHADA - abu nuhas - ras mohaMmed - thistlegorm - HURGHADA

A popular choice, this week long itinerary begins and ends in Hurghada offering divers the best of the classic nothern wrecks and reefs.

Day one includes 2 check-out dives near Hurghada which may include Sha'ab el Erg (Dolphin Reef). Possible night dive at Abu Nuhas.

Day three is for discovering the famous shipwrecks of Abu Nuhas. Lying close to the shipping lane, this scenic reef has claimed more ships than any other in the Red Sea. Great for photographers!

Enjoy 2-3 dives in Ras Mohammed national park (protected since 1983) with its breathtaking walls covered in huge fan corals and the abundance of schools of large fish. Expect to observe a prolific marine life here, especially at Yolanda Reef. Possible night dive on the Thistlegorm wreck.

Many divers choose this itinerary to discover one of the world's most famous wrecks, the SS Thistlegorm, which met its demise in 1941 whilst on duty delivering a cargo of ammunition and war materials to the British troops in North Africa. Explore the wreck today, with 3 dives scheduled (may include other sites such as Shag Rock or Goubal Barge).

Continuing on the wreck theme, day 6 offers the chance to discover the wreck of the Rosalie Moller followed by a possible night dive in the Hurghada area.

The week long itinerary culminates with 2 further dives in the Hurghada area (Um Gammar, Mina Wreck, Carless Reef) on the final day before heading back to port.
